Where is my data stored?

Your receipts, products, lists, recipes, and stores sync to MyShoppr's secure backend so they're available across your devices and to anyone you share an account with.

How do I back up my data?

Backups happen automatically as part of sync. You can also export your shopping lists and receipts from inside the app at any time.

How does receipt scanning work?

Everything happens right on your iPhone — we read your receipt on-device, so the original photo is never sent anywhere for analysis. We save the items we recognize along with a small, low-resolution copy of the photo so you can look back at it later.

How do I share my account with family or teammates?

Shared Accounts is a Pro feature, and both parties must have an active MyShoppr Pro subscription — the inviter and the invitee. Sharing works by username:

  • The person who will be invited opens Account and taps the share icon next to their username to send it to the inviter.
  • The inviter opens Shared Accounts → Invite, enters that username, and sends the invitation.
  • The invitee opens Shared Accounts → Received and accepts.

Once accepted, you can switch into the shared account and act on its owner's behalf. See the Sharing page for details.

Why didn't I get a store proximity notification?

Check that notifications and location permissions are enabled for MyShoppr in your device settings. Location must be set to "Always" for store proximity wakes to fire in the background.

How do I change the language of the app?

MyShoppr supports English, Spanish, and French. Change the language from your device's system settings for MyShoppr. A restart may be required for changes to fully apply.

How do I delete a receipt or shopping list?

Open the receipt or list, tap the menu, and choose Delete. Deleting a receipt does not change your restock profiles — existing purchase rhythms are preserved.

Is MyShoppr free?

Yes, the essentials are free. MyShoppr Pro unlocks Smart List Suggestions, Smart Shopping prompts, Stats, full History, and Shared Accounts. See the Pro page for what's included.

How do I uninstall MyShoppr?

Long-press the app icon on your Home Screen and choose Remove App → Delete App. If you'd also like your synced data deleted from our servers, email support@myshoppr.app from your registered address.
